INTERIOR DESIGN MASTERS
Nicki, founder of & then they went wild, along with 9 other talented up-and-coming designers take part in this brand new and eagerly awaited interior design show, Interior Design Masters.
The contestants, all looking for their next big break, are thrown into the fast-paced world of commercial interior design where they will compete to win a life-changing contract for one of London’s top hotels.
Presented by Fearne Cotton with design expert and former editor of Elle Decoration, Michelle Ogundehin, as the series judge.
Each week the designers will be set a new commercial interior design challenge, ranging from shops to show homes and restaurants to hair salons. On each task, they will be tested on a whole range of skills as they attempt to work their magic and show off their design prowess to the judges.
Michelle will be accompanied by a different guest judge each week, who will be on hand to offer their expertise, including Mary Portas, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Sophie Robinson, Matthew Williamson, Abigail Ahern, Naomi Cleaver, Thomasina Miers and Jade Jagger.
EPISODE 1:
Wednesday 14th August 8pm, BBC Two
The first episode sees the designers set off in their teams to Northumberland, where they will face the challenge of redesigning two show homes.
Working in two teams of five, the designers are each given a different room to design within their show home. Not only will they be designing something to impress Michelle and her team, but they will also have to consider a design appealing to prospective buyers.
EPISODE 2:
Wednesday 21th August 8pm, BBC Two
Episode two sees the designers head to a hotel in Bournemouth, where they will each have a bedroom to design in their own particular style. Head judge Michelle wants to see their signature styles coming through and find out who they really are as designers. But there’s a twist: this isn’t a standard seaside hotel. It's Hotel Chocolate, and has a strong chocolate theme to delight their guests.
EPISODE 2:

EPISODE 3:
Wednesday 28th August 8pm, BBC Two
This week the designers are put to work in pairs, then each given a different shop brief to design. The twist is that only one shop brief for each pairing will be chosen, so whoever loses out on the pitch will have to act as assistant to their teammate.
As the designers arrive in Nottingham they discover a high street with independent shops which is very ready for a revamp. With two days to turn these average stores into 'destination' shopping spaces they have their work cut out. Queen of Shops, Mary Portas is guest judge.
EPISODE 4:
Wednesday 4th September 8pm, BBC Two
This week's task is all about designing for small spaces - and where better to test the designers on this than a student halls of residence? Each designer is given a small studio to design that must allow room for sleeping, studying and socialising.
The designers are divided into two teams, and told there's a twist to the task: as well as revamping the student studios, they also have to redesign a student kitchen on a very tight budget. Sophie Robinson is on hand to help judge.

EPISODE 5:
Wednesday 11th September 8pm, BBC Two
The stakes are raised this week, as the five remaining designers undertake their biggest project so far.
Michelle puts them into a team of two and a team of three, and tells them they have an entire holiday lodge to design: they'll take one bedroom each and collaborate with their team on a kitchen/diner and outdoor space.
Helping Michelle this week is guest Judge Abigail Ahern. Abigail is an influential tastemaker always ahead of the design trail, whether pioneering faux flowers or dark, inky colour palettes.
EPISODE 6:
Wednesday 18th September 8pm, BBC Two
This week the designers are put into teams of two, and discover that restaurants will be the next big commercial project they’ll be undertaking.
They will have the chance to meet their clients and see the spaces before taking on the design. But she also warns them that although they will be working together, this week she also needs to see some individual design flair from each of them.
